JetBlue has issued a statement about an issue that prompted a backlash on social media.
The company said in a statement on Thursday that the first Hot Issues briefing was scheduled for today.
The company is offering two additional Hot Issues briefings in the coming days.
The first will be on Wednesday, Sept. 13 at 8 a.m.
ET and will be focused on topics that affect consumers, such as airline travel, and the second will be scheduled for Thursday, Sept 16 at 8:30 a., ET.
The JetBlue Hot Issues newsletter is designed to help customers navigate their airline travel and stay connected with the airline, the company said.
In a blog post, JetBlue said it has “worked to ensure the Hot Issues briefs are appropriate and helpful for our customers.”
