Modena, Italy (AFP) – Gianlucchi Vialli scored twice as Juventus edged AC Milan 1-0 at the Stadio Olimpico to send Juve on a winning streak.
The Bianconeri extended their lead to 1-1 midway through the first half when Simone Inzaghi nodded in a free-kick from close range after a fine pass from the centre-back.
But Milan were level at the break when Simone Zaza curled a 25-yard shot into the net from close-range.
The result leaves Juve four points behind Milan, who face Barcelona in the Champions League on Wednesday.
Vigliani’s side remain in third place in Serie A with four games left to play.
The Italian international is also still out with a hamstring injury and will not be fit for the next two games.
